Clash Royale Updates: Tournaments
Tournaments are made to show off skills and be able to make a name for yourself or your team, which is why this feature has been added on to Clash Royale. However, the fame or recognition is not what most people are after, because the rewards are much enticing. There are a lot of options to choose from when hosting a tournament, which ranges from the number of participants that can join to the duration of the said event.
The addition of tournaments has kicked off another exciting feature in the game, of which players are grateful of. There is quite a bit of similarity compared with Clash of Clans but of course, this new feature embraces match-making mayhem even to the extremes. An enormous chest filled with a lot of prizes such as numerous cards would await the champion of the tournament. Such rewards would surely boost the winner in many ways.
However, if you are to plan to host a tournament, you must consider purchasing gems first, or add more gems to your account without purchasing. A huge amount of in-game gems are required before you could be able to start one running tournament, depending on the number of players that you wish to host.
Guidelines for Tournaments
- Every single tournament must be free of charge – This means, the host would be the only one who will be spending gems. Although there could be some restrictions.
- Supercell is not in-charge but rather the host is – Given the fact that the host would be spending, then he or she also has the option to place in a password or not. This allows you and your friends to have a showdown by competing on your own tournaments.
If you have never joined a tournament, the odds of joining are slim if you don’t know the tricks on how to do such. So what you basically have to do is to click on the tournament tab and then click on the search button which is located on the upper right side of your screen. Don’t stop spamming on the search button until your see the first tournament turn into yellow. This color coding means that the tournament has just started or still has slots for you to enter. When you see a green one, it means that the tournament is running or rarely has open slots for hopefuls to join. Then you have to click the join button as fast as you can, but if you fail, then you have to keep on tapping on the search button.
Searching for tournaments that give out massive rewards are those that you need to keep an eye on. The trick is to remember that tournament and come back 30 minutes before it ends. Just keep spamming the join button and you might just get a large chunk of profit from your time invested.
