Epic Cards: The Baby Dragon and The Goblin Barrel
Playing as a beginner in the game, you would envy this two cards without a shadow of a doubt. This is due to their sneaky tactical abilities and of course difficulty to find. The likelihood of obtaining these two Epic cards when you are new is slim so you have to play harder in order for you to be successful.
Air attacks are definitely a game changer because not all ground attacks can attack flying units but almost all air-based units can hit both land and the air targets.
The Baby Dragon
This cute little dragon floats just about a few feet from the ground, but do not belittle its ability of flying as it keeps itself safe from ground-based attackers by mere inches. Having the ability to surpass such types of enemies, it would be best to utilize it during a tank is being drop. This could be a giant, a P.E.K.K.A, a mini P.E.K.K.A, a Golem, or even a Knight. There are a lot of units to mention but what makes it a great investment is it’s ability to do splash damage upon. If you encounter a marching army of barbarians, it would be an easy wipe out by the baby dragon. Other low cost units such as the goblins and goblin archers can be killed swiftly as well. You just have to be cautious about the perfect timing of it.
The Goblin Barrel
Not just in the lower arenas is this card a favorite, because even in the legendary arena, most of the users expel this bunch of goblins into mid-air in order for them to crash on to the busy crown towers. They are no different compared to the regular goblins, but as we know goblins, these green hasty creatures will tear through towers if left unattended. It is crucial to eliminate them once away if you face such an attack. With that being said, you always have to have a bunch of arrows to counter the attack at all times, as it would be taken down in just one shot. If you are not a fan of arrows, then other spells will do such as the fireball and zap. However, if you take elixir consumption in to consideration, you would get the best out of the arrows as it is a fair trade of elixir.
A honorable mention is the goblin barrel and mirror combo. As the mirror can be obtained on the higher arenas, it enables to you duplicate the last used card, so this would mean double trouble for the receiver! If your opponent has used his arrows on the first landing of the goblins, then he or she is toast since the next batch of goblins will puncture out the sides of the crown tower that it is locked on, with the use of their heavy duty short knives.
Making up into the high ranks is no joke, so it is highly recommended that you upgrade the two featured cards for you to excel in the game.
