Is the most underrated card even useful?
As you start the game from scratch, training is crucial and one of the cards that you would tend to like the most is the Giant. This bulky character may walk slowly but it naturally has the ability to tank and favor defensive structures. When you move past the easy arenas, you will end up shifting to the Hog Rider as it aims for those defenses, in a much faster pace in exchange for the ability to tank. Speaking of health bars, apart from giants, you also have the Knight which can tank an defend for you, along with the mini P.E.K.K.A. If you aim for strength and vitality, you then have the P.E.K.K.A who can deal devastating punishing damage to who ever she comes against. The Prince on the other hand is a deadly offensive unit that would charge upon its enemies and inflict painful blows with his trusty spear.
So why are we talking about these units? Are they even relevant?
With the said advantages that they hold, it would be much of a burden to take out such if the opposition is the one charging on to you. Well you won’t have to worry that much because all of those units can be taken down by the so-called weakest card in the game. Yes, I’m talking about Skeletons! If you take a close look on to the elixir cost of the mentioned units, they range around 4-7 elixirs, which means a lot of waiting time. If you prefer to play on a low elixir deck, then you would take out even the max level P.E.K.K.A. with ease. All of the units that I have mentioned earlier are single target units, which means that they cannot survive an attack of four or more.
The goal is to drop the Skeletons on to the said units as soon as they reach the range of your defenses. With that, it would serve as a distraction as well as a counter-attack. It is a counter-attack as you can build up your desired army in a flash!
For instance, you have a massive P.E.K.K.A approaching you, then as you distract her with your four skeletons, you can also place other units as the Skeletons are cheap! Well actually, they are the cheapest card in the game as it only costs a single elixir! So it would be upon your discretion as to what type of army would you want to build as you counter it. Some spear goblins, a knight, and a wizard would do great. It really depends on your style of playing.
Don’t forget to drop spells as they are a definite game changer! Clearing the enemy’s attack and pushing with a Rage Spell could easily lead on to a tower annihilation!
So try to experiment on the cards that would work for your strategy. Patience and swift decision making will bring you to success. Just fight when your mind is well conditioned and of course… keep clashing! 🙂
