Rare Cards: The Inferno Tower and Elixir Collector
When we talk about battles, we mostly refer to the strong offensive and defensive units to have, but what about supportive structures?
Constant upgrading of your units would make you mightier if you look at it in a typical way, however, having high level supportive buildings would definitely be a game changer. Depending on what units are you fond of using, there are two rare cards that would spice up the game up a notch.
The Inferno Tower
Tanks are quite annoying, especially if they are upgraded and made as tough as they get, so you would want to know how to counter them. A good example is a Golem. If you run into this beast, then it might just be a few seconds until the game ends. Having a troop with such massive health points would enable your opponent to simply place even the weakest troops on the back of it and push their way swiftly on to your base.
A fiery solution to that is the Inferno Tower. With the lashing flames that it spits out, it acts more like a never-ending Dragon’s breath, of which penetrates deeply into the opponent’s body over time. Even the toughest tanks could not take such intense heat, thus burning them to toasts with ease!
Execution: The Inferno Tower is best situated in the middle, though it has to be guarded for it to serve it’s purpose. The most effective way to use it as a defense from a massive enemy push is to distract the enemy with your units as it targets one unit to the other. This tower deals burning damage that grows over time, so if a Giant, P.E.K.K.A., Prince, Mini P.E.K.K.A., or even a Golem that creeps in slowly gets busy on to one of your units that you deploy nearby, then a few seconds is all what it takes for the Inferno Tower to bust its guts!
The Elixir Collector
Also known as the Elixir Pump, this structure plays on a supportive role. Unlike the Inferno Tower that deals chaotic damage upon it’s victims, the Elixir Collector does NO damage at all… So how is it even useful? Well, it basically speeds up your elixir regeneration in order for you to have the upper hand. The game revolves in elixir, which means having an elixir collector or two in place would be a total game changer.
Execution: Patience is all you need if you want to play this card. Timing is also crucial. You would NOT want to spend an elixir collector if your enemy is pushing against you. If you do have the chance to place it, then you would might as well do it as it lasts for quite some time. It would be beneficial for you in that particular game. You can also use it as a distraction if you prefer. However, most players would choose to keep it safe, far at the back, for it to be put into much use but if you don’t have that of a choice, especially if the enemy has such high level cards, then placing it on the middle would be a good thing to do. It is fair trade as long as it does not get taken down right away. If enemy units get close, then just place other units to counter attack. That way, you would be able to pull them from your crown towers.
